The rooms here are a good size and not too crowded, and the showers are a decent size too. the food is outstanding – can't get enough of it! the location is absolutely perfect, and the staff is friendly, lovely, and super efficient. 👌

Good location within walking distance of the Caen to Portmouth ferry terminal and with plenty of restaurants etc nearby.

Everything was excellent, polite staff, handy location not far from the ferry check in as well as ferry terminal. Well presented meals with hot drinks. What a very lovely stay, nothing too much trouble.

This place is great, with friendly staff and a fantastic location near the car ferry, offering delicious fresh bread, jam, and cheese.

It is a good all round standard hotel, particularly convenient for Ferries to and from Portsmouth.

Spacious shower in the room which was a good size to move around comfortably 🚿.

This hotel has the ideal location for ferry foot passengers I.E. only 5mins walk from ferry, also it is on the bus route to Caen centre or rail station,(every hour only 2.15 euro).Good choice of continental breakfast. After a long day out it was the perfect place for a meal (choice of food or nearby brasseries) and good nights sleep(quiet).

Strange to find no curtains in a downstairs bedroom.

Enjoyed fresh bread, jam, and cheese for breakfast, a very comfy bed, and the compact but well-equipped rooms.

Very convenient for a night off the ferry then a relaxed start to the long drive elsewhere in France. We slept in the accommodation attached to the hotel across the road and it was very good. Breakfast was also good with a range of choices which was good value. Will definitely stay here again.

The hotel was quiet, warm and comfortable. The location is good with plenty of eating places nearby and in particular perfect for access to the car ferry terminal to Portsmouth

This place is conveniently located near a ferry port, and the restaurant is pleasant and offers a nice ambiance, plus there's a lake just a short walk away.

Welcoming staff, good restaurant, lovely decor in lounge and breakfast room, near to Ouistreham Ferry Terminal, adequate parking, room although small very clean and fresh. Perfect for an overnight stay.

Room sizes a bit small for longer stays.

Good location, free wi-fi, but it did cut out if idle for more than a minute or two. Nice television, but no English channels.

Instead of staying within the hotel itself we were placed into a building opposite and out into a small en-suite room, with a very small bathroom. It was basic to say the least. A small bar in the hotel, but €7 for a 500cl of beer was high for the very basic bar area.

Convenient location for the Portsmouth ferry by car or on foot. Very close to a bus stop with frequent services to Caen.

Felt privileged, no complaint.

This hotel couldn't have been better placed for our requirements as an overnight stay prior to an early morning ferry departure (or vice versa). We decided to have dinner and found the menu (and indeed the food)y to be of very high quality at a sensible price. The staff were excellent, friendly and very attentive.The hotel is obviously very popular with locals as there were parties on both nights of our stay (neither party however caused us the slightest concern in terms of noise etc).
